This wooded area is open to group picnicking at a beautiful
spring. Four Group Shelters as well as seven picnic sites are
provided. Reservations are required for the shelters.
Fern Springs is open from the last week of April through the last week
of October. As of June 10, 2005, a fee is not required for use of this site. Please visit the
Chattahoochee National Forest website for additional information.
Directions
From Tallulah Falls, take US-441 S/US-23 S/GA-15 S. Continue on US 441 South for approximately 13.5 miles. Take the GA Hwy. 197 exit and turn right onto GA Hwy. 197. Go approximately 2.5 miles and turn left onto Dicks Hill Parkway/GA Hwy. 13. The parks is approximately 3 miles.
